Parent Right To Know
Beaver Local School District receives Federal Title I funding and as a parent, you have the right to know the professional qualifications of the classroom teachers who instruct your child. Federal law allows you to ask for certain information about your child’s classroom teacher and requires us to give you this information in a timely manner, if you ask for it.

Title I Survey
Beaver Local School District would like to know what our parent think of the Title I Program Services offered to your elementary-age child. We invite parents of elementary students to complete the above survey. All responses will be used to evaluate and improve the Title I Program.
Beaver Local School District, and the parents of students participating in activities, services and programs funded by Title I, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) (participating children), agree that this compact outlines how the parents, the entire school staff, and the students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement. It also outlines the means by which the school and parents will build and develop a partnership that will help children achieve the State’s high standards. This school-parent compact is in effect during the 2017-18 school year.

FERPA is a Federal law that applies to educational agencies and institutions that receive funding under a program administered by the U. S. Department of Education. Under FERPA, schools must generally afford parents: access to their children's education records, an opportunity to seek to have the records amended, and some control over the disclosure of information from the records.
The Beaver Local School District is pleased to be able to offer our students, staff and guests access to computer technology, including access to the Internet, certain online services and the Beaver Local Schools information technology network. Adherence to the above policy is necessary for continued access to the school's technology resources.

Parent Involvement Policy
Each year the Superintendent shall work with parents of children served in Title I Programs in order to jointly develop and agree upon a proposed written parent involvement policy to establish expectations for the involvement of such parents in the education of their children.
As stated in the Beaver Local School District Bylaws & Policies, this is the proper procedures for securing quotations and/or bids policy for the District.
