Philosophy
Beaver Local believes that service learning and school improvement are natural allies. All children learn
more and provide greater service to society if they are challenged to hold higher expectations with high
learning standards in enriched course content and to apply subject matter in real life settings. By
empowering students to become involved in worthwhile service learning activities, they will develop a sense
of caring for others, which builds character and develops citizenship & life skills.
